ArtVoiceWV Receives Third Telly Award

ArtVoiceWV’s mini-documentary on Susan Carney—“ArtVoiceWV: A Fascination with Change”— was awarded a Bronze Telly Award in the 36th Annual Telly competition. With this award, the ArtVoiceWV online series has received three Telly Awards for online documentary excellence. The first was for the profile of metal artist Glenn Horr and the second was for writer/author/arts advocate Jeanne Mozier.

Produced by 78 Degrees West Films, ArtVoiceWV has profiled nearly two dozen West Virginia artists since November 2012. Filmmaker Jack Kelly is also Director of the Digital Media Center for Community Engagement at the Morgan Arts Council’s Ice House.

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and honors outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs; video and film productions; and online commercials, video and films.

“We are once again very proud to receive this award,” said Jack Kelly. “It acknowledges the quality of our work and the work of the artists we profile.”
